One of the advantages of Windows 7 is to provide a facility to take pictures on the screen of windows faster and easier, the facility is called the Snipping Tool.
Snipping Tool provides a feature that is better to take a screen shots than the manual way, usually when we want to take a screen shots on the screen we will be pressing the Print Screen key on the keyboard then open paint or other image processing software and then paste and edit it, It weakness is that each image which we will take the form of images full screen, now when we just want to take a small portion only, the screen shots we have to edit it (usually with cropping techniques) and this is a little time consuming.
Fortunately now windows 7 provides snipping tool, the facility to take a screen shots with faster and easier.

click Start-All Programs-Accessories-new-Snipping Tool
The Features in the snipping tool are:
Free-form Snip: This Feature is useful to take a screen shots freely according to the line that we make (like the freehand tool in photoshop).
Rectangular Snip: This Feature is useful to take a screen shots with the basic shape of the box.
Window Snip: This Feature is useful to take a screenshot of the window's program that we want to capture.
Full-screen Snip: This is obvious to take full screen screen shots :)
